Cricket squad named
NZPA-Reuter New Delhi The Indian cricket selectors yesterday named a 15member squad for the five one-day series matches against Australia in India The squad includes only one player, the off-spinner, Ashok Patel, who has not represented India before.
The squad is: Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Ravi Shastri, Dilip Vengsarkar, Surrinder Khanna, Ghullam Parkar, Sandeep Patil, Roger Binny, Manoj Prabhakar, Chetan Sharma, Kirti Azad, Syed Kirmani, Madan Lal, Ashok Patel, Balwinder Singh Sandhu.
