Mr O’Flynn to meet Ministers
PA Wellington The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr O’Flynn, will have discussions with Ministers of seven European Economic Community countries next week.
Mr O’Flynn will visit Britain, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, West Germany, and Ireland and will talk to Foreign Affairs and Agriculture Ministers.
Because his visit coincided with that of the Prime Minister, Mr Lange, he would be briefed by the latter on his talks in New York, he said.... Mr O’Flynn said he would remind the Europeans of the major importance of continuing access for New Zealand’s agricultural exports to Community markets and of a co-opera-tive approach to agricultural trade in third markets. It would also be valuable to hear the current concerns of the Ministers on such topics as disarmament, he added.
