Badminton team wins three
The New Zealand under-18 badminton team finished its three-match tour of Tasmania last week-end with its third win, 11-5, over the Tasmanian colts side at Hobart. New Zealand lost just one of the eight singles matches to give itself an ideal start. The only loss was by the Canterbury player, Trevor Campbell, at No. 1. He went down to Jason Williams, 11-15, 6-15. Results — (New Zealand names first).—
