Top umpire to assist
One of Australia’s most experienced and respected cricket umpires, Tony Crafter, will be in Christchurch today to speak to umpires on training skills. Mr Crafter, aged 44, was the main speaker at the Wang New Zealand Cricket
Umpires’ Association annual conference and training school in Auckland last week-end. He has umpired 14 test matches, 27 one-day internationals and 26 Sheffield Shield matches since 1973.
