Canterbury wins Sydney title
Canterbury Bankstown clinched the Sydney rugby league premiership when it beat Western Suburbs, 38-2, last Sunday. Canterbury is four competition points clear of Parramatta and St George with one round remaining before the championship play-offs. Both Parramatta and St George are assured of appearing in the play-offs. Manly-Warringah and Canberra share the vital fourth and Fifth hut. fnur
