Ski-plane flights resume
PA Timaru Mount Cook Airlines resumed normal ski-plane flights in the Mount Cook National Park yesterday Flights were suspended the Tasman Glacier. Three Sin were killed and three others seriously injured ski-planes
resumed flying in the park on Sunday but bad weather prevented them from landing on the glaciers. The three survivors of the crash were all flown to Timaru for emergency hospital treatment. One of the injured, Dr Nick Grace, of California, ,was transferred to Burwood Hospital’s spinal unit on Friday. He underwent surgery on’
Sunday and last evening he was reported to be in a fairly comfortable condition. The other two men are still in Timaru Hospital. The pilot, Mr Brendon Harris, of Christchurch, was reported in a serious but satisfactory condition last evening and Mr -Mark Potts, of Australi&in a satisfactory conditicSr .
