Ringo Starr in series
NZPA-PA London Ringo Starr and his wife, Barbara Bach, are among the well-known cast of a new television series to be screened on ITV. Also starring are Claudia Cardinale, Lindsay Wagner, and the ‘‘Starsky and Hutch” star, Michael Paul Glaser, in ‘‘Princess Daisy,” the best-seller by Judith Kranz. “Princess Daisy” is one of two blockbusters bought by ITV as part of its bid to keep ahead of the 8.8. C. in the ratings. ITV has also bought Shirley Conran’s bestseller, “Lace,” starring Brooke Adams, Honor Blackman, Trevor Eve and Anthony Quayle. Both , tell high-class scandal and intrigue.
