‘Dr Who’ at the Gladstone
Following the success of a recent screening of “Reefer Madness” at the Gladstone Hotel, Pleasure Pak Promotions will show “Dr Who and the Daleks” at the same venue next Wednesday at 8.15 p.m. The promoters aim to screen off-beat movies, which would rarely be shown otherwise, in the relaxed atmosphere of a hotel, where people can sit back and have a good laugh, jeer or whatever reaction is required. Dr Who (Peter Cushing) travels in his time machine, the Tardis, which resembles an old police box, to another planet inhabited by the good and bad Thais, and the nasty Daleks. No more need be said.
