Awards for writers
Entries for the 1984 P.E.N. Young Writers’ Incentives Award Scheme will close on September 30. There are two awards, one for poetry and one for prose, and three prizes in each section. Poetry items are limited to 200 lines of verse while prose items should be limited to 2000 words. Entries should be accompanied by a recommendation from a teacher, emSer or someone else of erity, nominating the entrant as a young writer of recognised ability.
