Relatives sought
Sir,—l am trying to trace my living relatives. Some of my ancestors emigrated from England to New Zealand, and you may be able
to help me trace them or their offspring. I am searching for two families. Louise Macrow and her son, Fred: Louise is the widow of Fred Macrow, who was killed in World War I, and whose father was Herbert Horsley Macrow. Louise and son Fred went to New Zealand some time between the wars. Ernest Macrow, his wife, Daisy, and daughter Lola: Ernest used to run a shop in St Albans. I believe Lola was a physiotherapist. They left England during the 19505. Ernest was also one of Herbert Horsley’s sons. Anything which your readers can add will be much appreciated. Yours, etc., A. G. MACROW, 11 Woodside Wigmore Kent MEB OPG England. May 21, 1984.
