Indonesians ban Hare Krishna sect
NZPA-Reuter Jakarta The Indonesian Government has banned the activities of the Hare Krishna religious sect, says a spokesman for the AttorneyGeneral’s office. He said the sect’s activities had created unrest and dissension among Indonesian Buddhists. The Attorney-General also ordered the confiscation of all books, brochures and other materials used to propagate the sect.
