CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL LITTER INFRINGEMENT NOTICES AND OFFENCES PUBLIC Notice Is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council at a meeting held In the Council Chamber, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, Christchurch 1, on Monday, the 16th day of April, 1984, passed the following resolution: “That In pursuance of the powers vested in it by Section 13 of the Litter Act 1979 and amendments In that behalf enabling the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order that: (1) The provisions of Section 13 and Section 14 of the Litter Act 1979 be adopted and be applied in respect of any litter Infringement offence committed within the City of Christchurch. (2) The nature of the litter infringement offence or offences shall be: Every person commits an offence and Is Hable to the payment of a litter Infringement fee who, without reasonable excuse:— (a) Deposits any litter In or on any public place or, in the case of any private land, In or on that private land without the consent of Its occupier; or (b) Having deposited any litter (whether inadvertently or otherwise) In or on any public place, or in or on any private land without the consent of Its occupier, leaves the Utter there. (3) The litter Infringement fee payable In respect of any such offence shall be $2O. It Is hereby further publicly notified that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary meeting of the council to be held in the Civic Offices, situated as aforesaid, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, the 21st day of May, 1984, for confirmation by way of Special Order. THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY BYLAW NO. 112 (1384) AIRPORT PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council, at an Ordinary Meeting held In the Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, Christchurch 1, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, the 16th day of April 1984, passed a resolution to make a Bylaw, the short title of which will be “The Christchurch City Bylaw No. 112 (1984) — Airport”. The object or purport of the Bylaw is to make some minor amendments to existing bylaw provisions and provide new provisions concerning: (1) a metered parking area for motor vehicles. (2) Ground testing of aircraft engines. (3) The removal of refuelling equipment from the terminal area except when actually being used to refuel an aircraft.
