Grade trampolining
The Canterbury pre-national grade trampoline championships were held on Saturday at St Margaret’s College. There were 30 competitors from four clubs and there was an encouraging standard. Further competition this year will develop the potential of these junior competitors. Results were: Women Grade 4: A. Bergman (Action), 51.3, 1; V. Havord (Supertramp), 48.0, 2; M. Newsome (Blue Ribbon), 46.9, 2; L. Hayes (Y.M.C.A.), 45.4, 3. Grade 7: C. Mclnnes (Action), 47.2, 1; K. Guest (Action), 46.3, 2; V. Smith (Blue Ribbon), 45.8, 3. Men Grade 7: T. Motoi (Blue Ribbon), 36.5, 1; G. Mundy (Blue Ribbon), 26.4, 2.
