Accident victim dies
A Christchurch child died early Tuesday morning in Christchurch Hospital from injuries suffered in a car accident at Rakaia on Anzac Day. She was Demelza Jane Rogers, aged seven, of Halswell. The accident happened when the car in which she was a passenger was in collision with another car at the intersection of Ferguson Street and State highway 1 at Rakaia.
