Telephone bookings on credit

The Christchurch Town Hall has introduced telephone credit card bookings. The service, for Bankcard and Visa, will allow customers to telephone the Town Hall, place their order for tickets through their credit card and receive their tickets the next day. Each card transaction will cost $l. The service will run for the Des O’Connor show on June 5 to allow the Town Hall staff to assess the needs of the service. The manager, Mr Ray Sleeman, said he was confident that telephone credit card bookings would become a permanent part of the hall’s box office service.
