The Director will manage the expansion of this system on a cost recovery basis and must demonstrate proven skills in personnel management, financial analysis and effective communication both within the organisation and to outside participant libraries. The director will also contribute to the corporate management of the National Library at a critical time in its development. The Director will control a staff of librarians, EDP personnel and administratlves to achieve the full operation of this computer based system and must have appropriate management abilities.
