Dunedin concert cancelled
PA Dunedin Dame Kiri Te Kanawa’s Dunedin concert on April 2 was cancelled yesterday and may be replaced With a second Wellington concert. The assistant general manager of Intemationl Management Group, Mr Glen Ryder, blamed poor ticket sales. Almost 220 tickets were sold to the general public and 569 to American Express cardholders, but 2000 had to be sold to make the concert profitable. Dunedin people wishing to hear Dame Kiri in Christchurch will be able to transfer tickets to that concert.
