Soccer revolution?
NZPA-AAP Sydney Frank Arok, the newly appointed Australian soccer coach, is hoping to bring a revolution to the game in that country. The Australian Soccer Federation World Cup committee gave the former national coach, Les Scheinflug, three months notice on Thursday night, and announced Mr Arok as his
immediate successor. “It is what every coach dreams about and should try for. I was delighted and regard it as the biggest challenge in my career,” said Mr Arok. Australia faces a hard road in qualifying for the 1986 World Cup with Oceania matches against New Zealand, Israel, and Taiwan next year.
