A total of 2,886,276 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, including 686,200 special sales. The total was 836,136 fewer than on Thursday. Industrial shares totalled 2,399,576 (2,397,312 on Thursday) and 486,700 mining and oil shares were traded (1,325,100 on Thursday). A total of 160 issues was traded.
