Wgtn winner of pipe band contest
PA Auckland City of Wellington was overall winner in Grade 1 at the forty-ninth national pipe band contest which ended at Carlaw Park yesterday. MacLeay Duff Distillery, of Auckland, was runner-up and City of Invercargill third. Judges said they were impressed by the standard of competition. Results of the week-end’s events:
