Police attacked
Violence broke out in two Northern Ireland towns yesterday after rallies marking the twelfth anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” when British troops shot dead 13 people during a civil rights demonstration. The most serious incidents were at Strabane, County Tyrone, where demonstrators threw nearly 200 petrol bombs at the police.—Belfast.
