Schools burgled
Burglars and vandals have struck at seven Canterbury schools and kindergartens in the last two days.
In Christchurch, small amounts of cash were taken from Chisnallwood Intermediate School, Northcote Primary School, and the Rowley Avenue Kindergarten, Hoon Hay. The Kaiapoi Borough School was also burgled.
Windows were broken at Shirley Boys’ High School and minor damage was done at Hornby High School. Two children’s scooters were taken from a shed at a kindergarten in Mount Pleasant.
