NZPA . Perth New Zealand went down 1-2 to Australia in the semifinal of the women’s world squash team championship in Perth. Australia will play England in the final.
Results: Australia 2, New Zealand 1 (Australian names first): Rhonda Thorne lost to Susan de Voy 10-9, 6-9, 5-9, 7-9; Carin Clonda beat Robyn Blackwood 9-4, 0-9, 9-7, 0-9, 109; Jan Miller beat Joanne Williams 9-0, 9-3, 9-1.
