Call for buoy

PA Auckland The Auckland Harbour Board has decided to ask the Minister of Transport again to place a buoy on Shearer Rock, struck by a Japanese tuna boat on September 6. The general purposes committee was told that the board had asked the Ministry three times to place a buoy on the rock after the sinking of the Minato Maru 102. The boat was the third to hit the rock in the last 10, years.
