Electorate changes
Sir,—lt is imperative for every free-votihg man and woman to start thinking about the political scene. The contents of the media give a clear indication of what is in the minds of a party hierarchy and it does not look good. Old faithful members who have built up their constituencies with hard work and love of the people they represent look like being thrown out and replaced with a new fresh breed of unknown quantity. Our beautiful South Island must not be allowed to deteriorate into a no-man’s land.— Yours, etc.,
M. McKAY. September 19, 1983.
