Big win to Penrith
The Penrith (Sydney) Colts rugby league side completed its visit to Christchurch with a 36-6 victory over the Canterbury 19 years team at Denton Oval last evening. After being restrained to an 8-6 advantage at half-time, Penrtth dominated the later stages of the game, scoring a total of six tries.
The Penrith squad will return home today with a tour record of three wins and a draw. Scorers:— ’ Penrith 36 (S. Robinson two, J. Willcocks two, M. Pearce, D. Sloan tries; G. Smith four, G. two goals) beat Can* terburjt 6 (M. P. Crequer threti goals).
