Dutch ban S.A. golfers
NZPA The Hague The Dutch Government has banned 15 South African golfers from the Dutch Open to start in Zandvoort today. The Government last month refused a visa for the South African, lan Palmer and said the refusal would also apply to any other applications by South African golfers. In line with its anti-apart-heid policy, the Government has appealed to Dutch sporting organisations to avoid contacts with South Africa. South Africans were recently allowed entry for the Dutch Grand Prix tennis and motor-cycle grand prix events.
