Nuclear weapons

Sir, — Having just returned from Akaroa along a very snowy Summit Road, we feel excited about the meeting just attended. Despite appalling weather 110 people gathered to discuss our increasing concern about the nuclear arms race. An attendance like this from our small community indicates that New Zealand’s peace movement will grow into a strong, effective body. — Yours, etc., SHIRLEY CUMMINS. ALAN CUMMINS, ANNE-MARIE BRITTENDEN, Le Bons Bay. July 3, 1983.
