Canterbury in national badminton final
Canterbury will play in the national division II badminton final on July 30 and 31. At the week-end it beat Wairarapa and Hutt Valley, and lost to Wellington 21 games to 18. Canterbury earned its place in the final with 43 points to 41 over Wellington. Results were: Canterbury 14, Hutt Valley 2. Men’s singles.—B. Williams beat A. Rigby, 15-11, 15-13; A.
