Rating not guilty
PA Napier A High Court jury in Napier last evening found an Australian naval rating not guilty on a charge of assault with intent to rape. Mr Justice Eichelbaum discharged Rodney Jennings Martin, aged 25, who had denied committing the offence against a Napier woman, aged 32, on January 30 last year.
