NZPA-Reuter Houston The New Zealand golfer, Bob Charles, lay 11 strokes behind the leader, Doug Tewell, after the third round of the $400,000 Professional Golf Association Houston Open tournament yesterday. Tewell, of the United
States, fired a six-under-par 65 yesterday to take a onestroke lead over the crowd’s favourite, Lee Trevino. His 54-hole total was 206, seven under par on the Woodlands Country Club course. Charles’s 72 brought him to a third-round total of 217, well back in the field.
