Man dies after fall
A young man who fell out of an upstairs window above the Victorian Coffee Lounge in Oxford Terrace on Sunday, died last evening in Princess Margaret Hospital. The name of the man, aged 24, has not been released. His parents are touring Australia and efforts to find them, including radio broadcasts, have so far failed. The man suffered extensive head injuries in the fall. He had apparently been “playing around” when he “literally cartwheeled” out of the window, said a police spokesman.
