’ Public Notices i RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL EXTRAORDINARY VACANCY RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 51(5) of the Local Elections and Polls Act. 1976 that the Council has decided to fill the vacancy for one Councillor to the Rangiora Borough Council by appointing a person qualified to be elected to be a member thereof. Section 51(5) and Section 51(12) of the Local Elections and Polls Act. 1976. provide that a number of electors for the time being on the roll and being a number not less than five per cent of the number of electors who were on the roll of electors of the Rangiora Borough for the 1980 General Election of the council may. by notice given under their hands delivered at the office of the council. 215 High Street, Rangiora, not later than 22 working days after the giving of this notice, demand that an election be held to fill the vacancy. Such demand must be received at the Borough Office on or before Tuesday. March 29. 1983. A. F.
