Auckland wins softball
PA Wellington Auckland won the national under-16 girls softball title in Wellington yesterday, beating Counties. 4-2.’in the final. In the semi-finals Auckland disposed of Waikato. 5-3. .while Counties beat Manawatu, 4-0, to reach the final. In the play-off for third and fourth place Waikato beat Manawatu, 8-6.
