Canty wins convincingly
PA Invercargill Canterbury was a convincing winner of the South Island under--14 girls softball tournament when it easily beat Southland B. 15-2. in the final at Surrey Park. Invercargill, yesterday. Southland B was a surprise finalist after having beaten Otago. 16-15, in a semi-final, but the team's inexperience showed up against the well-drilled Canterbury side.
