Sir Brian ‘favourable’
PA Auckland The noted heart surgeon, Sir Brian Barratt-Boyes, was reported to be progressing favourably in Green Lane Hospital after a triple coronary by-pass. Hospital staff said he would probably remain in the intensive-care unit for four or five days.
