Police seek two men
The Christchurch police are looking for two Maoris in their 20s after a youth was beaten and robbed of about $lOO in Tuam Street on Thursday evening. One of the attackers was described as 1.75 m tall (sft 9in). aged about 25, with a moustache. The other was aged about 29 and was of solid build. He was wearing a yellow flowered shirt with
a button front. The youth, aged 17, had been drinking in the Aranui Hotel on Thursday evening and left with the two men and two female companions in a car similar to an older-model blue Chrysler Valiant. The two men stopped the car in Tuam Street, dragged the youth out, and attacked and robbed him in an alley.
