One-day cricket match
Canterbury will defend the Night Security Services Trophy when it meets Wellington in a limited-over cricket match at the Basin Reserve tomorrow. In the inaugural game 12 months ago Canterbury recovered from a quite un-
promising position to beat Wellington by 15 runs. This time quite a few of the Wellington players will begin the match with an intensive cricketing preparation — three days against Australian Capital Territory and a club round today.
