$425,000 car parts seized
PA Auckland Customs officers at Auckland Airport on Thursday seized car- parts valued at more than $425,000. The senior investigations officer, Mr Stuart Hartley, said that the given value of the parts was false. He said that the importer, a person with a few "rather expensive cars,” had one month in which to dispute the forfeiture to the Crown, otherwise the parts would be auctioned.
