.The federation’s vice;presideht, Mr Ted Thompson, said last evening that the proposal had been rejected at a recent national council meeting.
The federation’s president, Mr W. J. Knox, flew to Noumea on Saturday for the 13-nation Pacific Trade Union forum, at which nuclear testing will be discussed. -.
