Red Cross will give $2500
The New Zealand Red Cross Society will give $2500 to the relief effort for people affected by the continuing eruptions of Mount Galunggung in West Java. This will supplement an earlier gift of $2500 to the Indonesian Red Cross, which is responsible for basic feeding, medical care, sanitation, and water supply for about 26,000 evacuees in 40 camps. Many of these evacuees are still living in tents as funds are insufficient to build more barracks. •. ■’ :
