Friesian bulls sell well
PA / . Hamilton Friesian bulls sold for a record average of- $1303 at the national - Friesian bull* sale’in Hamilton yesterday. This compares with last year’s average of $876 for the 72 bulls catalogued. A total of 74 was sold. More than 50 bulls made more than $lOOO. Top price was $4OOO for a bull sold on accqunt. of .O. D. and F. E. Hammond (Ohakune) to Eringold Farm, of Owhanga. Another sold on account of Tangimati Farms, of Levin, went to E. W. Hopson, of Matamata, for $3400.
