Cycle ride and picnic

To welcome the return of spring. the Canterbury Cyclists’ Association has organised a ride to Coes Ford, and a picnic. The event, to be held on September 5. is open to the public. The cyclists will leave from Cranmer Square at 10 a.m. and ride via Ashgrove Terrace and Cashmere Road to the Old Tai Tapu Road and Coes Ford. The organisers .have selected an "easy route" to suit both young and old. They estimate that the return trip, after the picnic, will begin about 2.30 p.m.
