Women killed in collision
PA Wellington A three-car crash on Ratana Hill, about 15km south of Wanganui on State highway 3 on Sunday evening, claimed the lives of two women and led to five young people being taken to hospital. The police said two cars had collided head-on oh the Wanganui side of the hill and that the third vehicle ran into them. The dead women were June Francis Anderson, aged 47, of Waverley, and Dorothy Corner, aged 27, of Wanganui. In a second week-end fatality at Waitara. a youth died" when a bus and the car
