Skydiving death

Sir,—The Canterbury Skydiving Club has been put out of business by the Director of Civil Aviation after the death , of a young woman in a parachuting accident. Cigarette smoking will kill hundreds of New Zealanders during the next year. There are no steps to close down the cigarette industry. Not only is the industry allowed to stay in business, it is allowed to spend millions of dollars oh highly glamorised •advertising to ensure a continuous supply of victims. — Yours, etc., ■ C. R. TURNER. August 5, 1982.
