Petitions on dog meat
P.A Wellington .Two petitions asking the Government to protest about brutality in the Filipino dog meat trade have been referred to it by a select committee with a recommendation for consideration. Such a recommendation usually indicates qualified support for the proposal. The petitions, reported back to Parliament yesterday from the Petitions Committee. were from Ivy Victoria Kench and 20.500 others and Catherine Ann Massey, Frederick Tom Massey. Merril Grayburn, and 2523 others. |
