Appeal for children
Sir, — May I express the thanks of our board to the people of Christchurch and surrounding districts for their generous support of our appeal on July 10. Their response means that for another year the work goes on and over 2000 children will be better off because of it. I have no doubt that this beautiful city will reap the benefit of its generosity to these children in the years to come. I must also, on behalf of the board, express thanks to all those who so unselfishly contributed to the success of our appeal. — Yours, etc., J. C. N. CROSBIE (MRS), . Chairman, Christchurch Churches’ Appeal Trust For Children In Care. July 13,-1982.
