Afghans fly to India
NZPA Singapore The Singapore Airlines jet which flew in with 40 Afghan refugees aboard from Sydney early yesterday morning left for India after a 45-minute stop-over at Changi Airport. None of the Afghans, were allowed to land in Singapore. The New Zealand-ticketed Afghans were refused permission to land in Sydney by the Australian authorities when they arrived there three days, ago, on the ground that they had no valid travel documents.
