Davenport flags away national squash circuit
PA Wellington Despite his men's open victory at the Central Districts squash championships at Levin last week-end Stuart Davenport has decided to bypass the remaining two events on the Adidas qualifying circuit. "I've got no chance of making the top eight for the' final ‘playoffs." said Davenport. He has played only two of the nine qualifying ' tournaments, mainly because of an injured back. “On that basis I'm not going to play in the Hawke's Bay or Auckland championships. "I'm happy enough I played some of my best squash for a long, long time at the week-end. and I've recovered my No. 2 ranking. Davenport said he would concentrate on building up for the Le Coq Sportif national championships in Hamilton, where he
