His speech at his funeral
PA Auckland Mr John A. Lee’s coffin was borne from the Mount Albert War Memorial Hall yesterday to the sound of his 1938 election campaign speech recorded in Taihape. About 190 people attended the funeral service for Mr Lee, who died last Sunday, aged 90. A private cremation service was held.'after the service at the hall.
